Double Header Weekend Success at Whiteland and NCMP

A double header weekend will test every part of a race program. Drivers have to reset quickly, crews have to stay sharp, and momentum can swing from one session to the next. This weekend brought all of that, with K1 Circuit Whiteland on Saturday and New Castle Motorsports Park on Sunday.
Saturday at K1 Circuit Whiteland brought speed across the tent
Whiteland set the tone for the weekend. The fields were strong, the racing was close, and several of our drivers put themselves in position to fight at the front.
The 206 Cadet group delivered a strong start. Jackson McNeely finished 2nd, putting together a clean and competitive drive in a stacked class. Diesel Maxwell followed with a 3rd-place finish, giving the tent two drivers on the podium in the same category.
That kind of result says a lot about the work being done before the green flag drops. In Cadet racing, confidence matters. So does making the right move at the right time. Jackson and Diesel both showed the racecraft needed to stay near the sharp end of the field and finish the job.
Class | Driver | Result |
206 Cadet | Jackson McNeely | 2nd |
206 Cadet | Diesel Maxwell | 3rd |
206 Junior delivered one of the strongest performances of the day
The 206 Junior class was one of the highlights of the Whiteland weekend. Parker got to the lead and ran away with it, building a huge gap and controlling the race from out front.
Getting to the lead is one thing. Pulling away is another. Once Parker found clean air, he made the most of it and never gave the field a real chance to close back in. It was a standout drive and one of the clearest examples of pace from the day.
Behind that lead battle, Andrew Avalos fought hard for a 5th-place finish. That result came in a competitive class where every position matters. Andrew had to earn it, and he kept himself in the fight through the full run.
The final result gave the tent a win and another strong top-five effort in the same class.
Class | Driver | Result |
206 Junior | Parker | 1st |
206 Junior | Andrew Avalos | 5th |
The 206 Senior group worked together up front all weekend
The 206 Senior class at Whiteland was another major bright spot. Brayden Johnson, Maxson Klebe, and Adam Maxwell worked together up front all weekend, and the results showed it.
Brayden finished the job with a 1st-place finish, leading the group with a strong performance. Maxson brought home 3rd, adding another podium to the tent’s Saturday total. Adam Maxwell finished 5th, giving the team three drivers inside the top five.
That kind of teamwork matters in a class where drafting, timing, and patience can shape the outcome. When drivers work well together, they can control gaps, protect track position, and make smart decisions in traffic.
The Senior results did not stop there. Rayder Santos finished 9th, while Nico Santos came home 10th after getting some help off the track. Even with that setback, Nico still brought it home in the top 10.
Class | Driver | Result |
206 Senior | Brayden Johnson | 1st |
206 Senior | Maxson Klebe | 3rd |
206 Senior | Adam Maxwell | 5th |
206 Senior | Rayder Santos | 9th |
206 Senior | Nico Santos | 10th |
Andrew Avalos closed Saturday with a KA Junior win
Andrew Avalos came into KA Junior with clear speed and made the most of it. After battling to a 5th-place finish in 206 Junior, he came back and ran away from the field in KA Junior, taking a strong 1st-place finish.
That kind of reset is not easy. Switching classes and finding the rhythm again takes focus, especially after already racing hard earlier in the day. Andrew showed pace, composure, and control.
By the end of the day, Whiteland had delivered wins, podiums, top-five runs, and top-10 depth across several classes.
Sunday at NCMP brought big fields and hard lessons
After a strong Saturday, the team headed to New Castle Motorsports Park for Sunday. NCMP always brings a serious challenge, and this weekend was no different. The fields were packed, and clean results were not easy to earn.
Jackson McNeely finished 10th in 206 Sportsman against a stacked field. After finishing 2nd at Whiteland the day before, Jackson kept the weekend moving with another solid result in tough competition.
The 206 Junior race was much rougher for Andrew Avalos. After a strong Saturday, Sunday did not go his way in that class. He did not finish the race, which is always frustrating after showing good pace the day before.
Still, Andrew ended the weekend on a high note. He came back in KA Junior and finished 2nd, adding another podium to his weekend after the Saturday win at Whiteland.
Rayder Santos also came out to NCMP for a fun run and finished 26th in a packed class. Sometimes the goal is seat time, experience, and enjoying the race environment. In a large field, every lap gives a driver something to build on.
Track | Class | Driver | Result |
NCMP | 206 Sportsman | Jackson McNeely | 10th |
NCMP | 206 Junior | Andrew Avalos | DNF |
NCMP | KA Junior | Andrew Avalos | 2nd |
NCMP | Packed class | Rayder Santos | 26th |
A weekend that showed depth, speed, and grit
The best part of a double header weekend is seeing how everyone handles the full grind. Saturday at Whiteland showed the team’s speed, with wins, podiums, and top-10 finishes across several classes. Sunday at NCMP tested everyone in a different way, with bigger fields, harder luck, and races that demanded patience.
Not every race went perfectly, but that is karting. The pace was there, the results were strong, and the tent had plenty to be proud of after two hard days of racing.
A double header does not leave much room to hide. This one showed a group with speed at the front, fight through the field, and the ability to bounce back when a race does not go to plan. That is what makes weekends like this worth remembering.
